Abstract

A device (1 ) in claddings for mounting of sheet-like elements, preferably insulating glass sheets (14), comprising a retaining member (3) and a securing member (2), the device having a first position, in which the device allows placing of said sheet-like elements in a desired position, and a second position, in which the device grasps at least part of said sheet-like element. The device is characterised by a braking member (4), which is arranged in such a manner that a movement of the securing member (2) relative to the retaining member (3) is counteracted in said first position, the securing member (2) being movable to said second position by application of an external force.
