Abstract

Diesel composition (I) comprises a mixture of 10-30 vol.% of ethanol, preferably free of water; 20-60 vol.% of a mixture of alkyl ester from vegetable oil; and 30-60 vol.% of vegetable oil, which is strongly hydro-treated. An independent claim is included for a method for formulating (I) comprising preparing a pre-mixture containing ethanol and alkyl ester from vegetable oil and incorporating the mixture into the diesel blend or the diesel base.
