Abstract
An apparatus for drying of a material in particle form such as sawdust, comprising a throughput container (20) for the material, means (24, 25, 70, 71) for directing the material through the container (20) , and means (34-38) for directing hot air through the container (20) for drying the material, means (80) for the detection of the air-pressure level in a pipe (34) between the fan (36) and the container (20) , and means (81) for the regulation of the residing amount of the material in the container (20) , the detection means (80) being arranged to control the regulation means (81) for maintaining a preselected air-pressure level on the output side of the fan (36).
