Abstract

The present invention relates to a device associated with a venting device for a fuel tank of a motor vehicle, whereby the venting device comprises at least one valve 3b. A vessel 14 for gathering fuel leakage is arranged in communication with the venting device in such a way that the vessel 14 constitutes a temporary container for fuel which leaks via the valve 3b, the vessel 14 being provided with an aperture 18 for evacuation of air which is led out from the tank via the venting device. The vessel 14 is connected to the valve 3b by at least one hose 12, whereby the hose and the vessel together constitute a temporary container for fuel which leaks via the valve 3b. The vessel has a substantially funnel-shaped bottom portion 16 to which the hose is connected. The invention also relates to use of a device as above in a bus provided with a pair of fuel tanks and a bus provided with a device as above.
