Abstract

The repeater (1) includes a device for providing information regarding the repeaters position, and a database containing information regarding which radio transmission network should be selected, depending on the repeaters position. The repeater automatically supplies the database with its position, selects the settings for the chosen network and alters the amplification settings for the frequency band belonging to the chosen network, including the possibility of effectively ceasing communication with a special network.
