Abstract
FIELD: metallurgy; manufacture of bimetallic articles for power plants. SUBSTANCE: method includes placing of monolithic steel component in capsule, filling of capsule with granules of nickel alloy, degassing, capsule sealing, hot isostatic molding, heat treatment. Prior to placing the monolithic steel component into capsule, applied to its surface is ion-plasma nickel coating with thickness equalling 0.25-0.35 diameter of nickel alloy granules. EFFECT: increased strength and ductility characteristics of zone of joint of powder nickel alloy and transition steel.
