Abstract

FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: method allows determining small amounts of cobalt in presence of great contents of nickel, tungsten, molybdenum, and multiple complexing agents: citric, tartaric, ascorbic, and salicylic acids, and thiourea in strong-acid medium. Determination of cobalt is performed with quinolineazo-P compound in hydrochloric acid medium (2 M solution) with no preliminary separation of basis which increases selectivity, accuracy, and quickness of analysis. EFFECT: improved procedure.

Предлагаемый способ позволяет определять малые количества кобальта в присутствии больших количеств никеля, вольфрама, молибдена и многих комплексообразователей: лимонной, винной, аскорбиновой, салициловой кислот, тиомочевины в сильнокислой среде. Определение проводят с органическим реагентом хинолин-азо Р в солянокислой среде (2 М раствор) без предварительного отделения основы, что способствует повышению избирательности, точности и экспрессности анализа.The proposed method allows to determine small amounts of cobalt in the presence of large quantities of nickel, tungsten, molybdenum and many complexing agents: citric, tartaric, ascorbic, salicylic acid, thiourea in a strongly acidic environment. The determination is carried out with the quinoline-azo R organic reagent in a hydrochloric acid medium (2 M solution) without preliminary separation of the base, which helps to increase the selectivity, accuracy and expressness of the analysis.
