Abstract
FIELD: electric transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes contactors 1, 3, 15, 17 connected to armature windings of motors 2, 4 and contactors 11, 12 connected to excitation windings 6, 8 between which diode 7 is placed and shunted by diode 10. Thyristor-pulse converters 6, 16 are placed between armatures 2, 4 and excitation windings 6, 8. Armature windings 2, 4 together with contactors 1, 3 are shunted by diodes 13, 14 correspondingly. Connection points of contactors 1, 3 and armatures 2, 4 are connected to minus pole of power supply source 9 via diodes 18, 19 connected in backward direction. Thyristor 20 and resistor 21 connected in series are placed between connection point of diodes 13, 14 and minus of power supply source 9. EFFECT: increase of maximum permissible initial rate of recuperative brake thanks to usage of parallel and series connections of armatures and excitation windings of traction motors.
