Abstract

FIELD: electromechanical engineering; manufacture of salient-pole DC and ac machines, such as shaded- pole single-phase induction motors. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine has salient- pole stator built up of external and internal magnetic circuits, field coils, rotor, and end shields. The latter are provided with winding holders separating coils wound on mentioned winding holders from poles. When manufacturing this machine, rotor is inserted into stator bore, end shields are installed on internal magnetic circuit, and then coils are wound on end-shield winding holders; then external magnetic circuit is installed.
