FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: wall bulkheads used mainly on ship's deck is provided with holders located immovably in area of ceiling and floor; these holders may be rearranged. Holders have U-shaped cross section. Holders are used for single-strip or multistrip members of wall bulkhead which are semi-fire-resistant and/or sound-proof; these members are rigid on large area and have no supports. These members are coupled with parallel members in vertical edge sections forming butt joints which are overlapped by means of spring-loaded connecting members made in form of hooks or meanders and are stabilized. Butt joints are perfectly tight due to position of connecting springs in two rows. EFFECT: enhanced tightness and reliability of joints. 1 dwg
