Level gauge realizing given method is supplemented with computer, two electrodes, power supply source and measuring instrument. Used electrodes are of same type. Целью изобретения является повышение точности измерения уровня за счет исключения влияния на результат измерения заранее неизвестного сопротивления жидкости путем использования информационной избыточности. Для достижения указанной цели во втором цикле измерения изменяют глубину погружения электродов. Уровнемер, реализующий данный способ, дополнительно содержит блок вычислений, два электрода, источник питания и измерительный прибор. Электроды выполнены однотипными.
