Abstract

FIELD: band for applying to tissue of human being or animal. SUBSTANCE: band has heat-retaining devices adhering to tissue for reflecting heat from human being's or animal's tissue and back to tissue. Heat-retaining devices are covered with isolating material, which is coated with textile material. Each heat-retaining device has multilayer structure made from first layer of thin film, such as polymeric material, adhering to tissue, second layer of aluminum foil applied to first polymeric layer and connected with it and layer of fiber glass fabric, which covers aluminum foil layer and is connected with it. Additional textile devices may be inserted between heat-retaining devices and human being's or animal's tissue. Heat-retaining and textile devices are joined by stitching or by adhesive material so as to produce pack of heat-retaining means. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation.

Claims (1)

A heat-preserving dressing for application to human or animal tissue contains heat-reflecting means adjacent to said fabric for reflecting heat from said fabric back to this fabric, means of an insulating material, covering heat-reflecting means, and textile means covering means of an insulating material. The heat reflecting means include a multilayer structure of a first layer of a thin film of polymeric material adjacent to said fabric, a second layer of aluminum foil covering said first film and associated therewith, and a layer of fiberglass fabric covering and related to the foil layer. Between heat reflecting agents and human or animal tissue, additional textile agents may be introduced. Corresponding textile means and heat-reflecting means are joined together by cross-linking or by means of an adhesive to create a bag for receiving funds from an insulating material.
