Abstract
FIELD: methods of study of substances properties under action of high pressure. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical metal ampoule with cavity for location of substance. On outer surface of ampoule there is charge of explosive substance with initiating device. Charge is made complex along its length of high speed and low speed explosive substances. First charge covers zone of cavity location, second charge is adjoining it. Initiating device is mounted on free butt of explosive substance charge. Apparatus is mounted on tray. Apparatus allows to subject substances in preserved ampoule to explosive loading by shock wave for following analysis under loading pressures up to several Mbar. EFFECT: improved design.
