Abstract
FIELD: mining; applicable in opencast mining of horizontal and inclined deposits of sedimentary origin of limestones, dolomites, shales and sands. SUBSTANCE: opencast is arranged with its one nonmining flank on the side of flow of underground water of water-hearing strata. Open-cast field is opened by initial pit to bottom in point of maximum lowering of foot of water-bearing strata and stationary water sump on the opencast bottom is formed. Mining benches are worked updip the foot of water-bearing strata and prepared for drainage by driving advancing drainage ditches or slots and water inflows are collected by water-diversion ditches and directed to stationary water sump on the opencast bottom. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
