Предполагаемое изобретение относится к измерительной технике, в частности к оптическим измерительным средствам. Задача изобретения - обеспечение получения информации о координатах поверхности по полному сечению детали при контроле ее геометрических параметров. Предложено формировать по меньшей мере две световые плоскости, освещающие исследуемую деталь в заданном сечении, наблюдать и регистрировать геометрические параметры изображения следов указанных плоскостей на различных участках поверхности детали, по которым определять геометрические параметры этих участков поверхности, формировать коллимированный пучок лучей света, освещать им деталь в направлении, перпендикулярном заданному сечению, наблюдать и регистрировать геометрические параметры теневого изображения детали и по результатам их анализа определять геометрические параметры взаимного расположения участков поверхности детали.
