Изобретение относится к области черной металлургии, в частности к производству ферросплавов, конкретнее к эксплуатации самоспекающихся электродов рудотермических печей, предназначенных для производства ферросилиция. Сущность изобретения заключается в том, что набивку стальных кожухов самоспекающихся электродов трехфазных рудотермических печей для выплавки ферросилиция производят электродной массой двух видов: сформованной в виде цилиндрических блоков с отношением диаметра к высоте, равным 1 : (3 - 5), и в виде брикетов. Электродную массу в виде цилиндрических блоков загружают в стальные кожуха электродов, удаленных от ленточного отверстия, а в виде брикетов - в кожух электрода, расположенного в районе ленточного отверстия. При эксплуатации электродов по предложенному способу выравнивается перепуск электродов по фазам, сокращается удельный расход электроэнергии для производства ферросилиция, а также удельный расход кварцита за счет стабилизации глубины погружения электродов в шихту и хода технологического процесса.The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the production of ferroalloys, more specifically to the operation of self-caking electrodes of ore-thermal furnaces intended for the production of ferrosilicon. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the packing of steel casings of self-caking electrodes of three-phase ore-thermal furnaces for smelting ferrosilicon is produced by an electrode mass of two types: molded in the form of cylindrical blocks with a ratio of diameter to height equal to 1: (3), and in the form of briquettes. The electrode mass in the form of cylindrical blocks is loaded into the steel casing of the electrodes remote from the tape hole, and in the form of briquettes - into the electrode casing located in the area of the tape hole. During the operation of the electrodes according to the proposed method, the bypass of the electrodes is aligned in phases, the specific energy consumption for the production of ferrosilicon is reduced, as well as the specific consumption of quartzite due to the stabilization of the depth of immersion of the electrodes in the charge and the process.
