Использование: испытание материалов при экспрессном определении предела текучести материала. Сущность изобретения: в испытуемый материал внедряют сферический индентор, измеряют параметры отпечатка после снятия нагрузки, при этом вдавливают индентор в испытуемый материал с заданным коэффициентом Пуассона, нагрузкой в диапазоне, соответствующем измерению твердости, и определяют фактическую интенсивность деформации в центре отпечатка, измеряют контактный модуль упрочнения испытуемого материала и с учетом величины фактической интенсивности деформаций в центре отпечатка определяют предел текучести.
