Abstract

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means for washing wheels during seasonal maintenance of military vehicles. Device consists of a metal base with holes for fastening and a metal tube welded to it vertically. Radial thrust bearing is installed in the base of the pipe. On this design, a round metal plate with a rod and a cylinder welded to it is installed from above. Rod is inserted into the radial thrust bearing until it stops. On top of the plate is glued a rubber pad to protect the wheels of the car wheels from scratches and damage, as well as to securely fix and prevent the car wheel from slipping off the device.

EFFECT: simplified design of the device is provided.

Description

The present invention relates to the field of technical means of servicing vehicles, in particular to technical means of washing wheels during seasonal maintenance of military vehicles [1].

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A serious obstacle when replacing tires on automobile wheels of vehicles is their contamination, as well as the contamination of the disks on which they are installed. Pollution of tires and rims of automobile wheels leads to the following problems:

- prevents proper balancing;

- contributes to the contamination of storage areas of automobile wheels;

- contributes to the pollution of the working room;

- Contaminates the mechanic's work clothes.

The solution to this problem is washing the car wheels before working with them. Modern industry offers many automatic machines for washing tires and wheels of automobile wheels. However, they have a number of disadvantages:

- high price of an industrial machine for washing car wheels (from 190,000 rubles);

- the high price of maintenance and supplies;

- the need for qualified staff.

A number of analogues are known for washing car wheels [2, 3]:

1. Patent No. 2246413 "Machine for washing wheels";

2. Patent No. 2127677 "Installation for washing the wheels of a car."

The reason that prevents these devices from obtaining a technical result, which is provided by the proposed device, is the design complexity, which leads to an increase in the duration of washing the wheels.

The objective of the invention is to provide a device for washing automobile wheels, which will reduce by 10-15% the time to wash one wheel, having a simple structure and operation and does not require large financial and labor costs.

The claimed device for washing wheels of military vehicles, which is shown schematically in FIG. 1, where: 1 - a metal base with holes for mounting, 2 - a vertically welded metal pipe to the base, 3 - angular contact bearing located in the base of the metal pipe 2 (pressed); 4 - a metal plate in the form of a circle with a metal rod welded to it in the center 5. The metal rod 5 is inserted into the angular contact bearing 3 until it is fixed. A rubber pad is glued on top of the metal plate 4 over the entire surface to protect the wheel rims from scratches and prevent the wheel from slipping off the device 6. A cylinder 7 is welded to the metal plate 4 in the center with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm larger than the diameter of the metal pipe 2 for protection angular contact bearing 3 against water and pollution.

The technical result of the invention is to reduce by 10-15% of the time for washing one wheel, depending on the currently used washing methods:

- washing in a car for washing wheels;

- washing the car wheel on a horizontal surface with a brush;

- washing car wheels in a bath with water;

- washing on a horizontal surface using an automatic high pressure washer.

The required technical result is achieved by the fact that the wheel on the device for washing wheels of military vehicles under the influence of a jet of water from any automatic washing (Karcher, Calm, etc.) or hose starts to rotate, thereby providing water access to its entire surface.

Thus, the positive effect of the device for washing wheels of military vehicles is:

- reduction of time for washing wheels;

- simplicity of design and operation;

- low manufacturing cost;

- low cost of maintenance.
