Корпус часов содержит корпусное кольцо 1 с гнездом 2, в котором закреплено стекло 3, и крышку 4, скрепленную с корпусным кольцом 1. Гнездо 2 выполнено глубиной не менее толщины стекла 3. На боковой поверхности корпусного кольца 1 закрепляется съемный ободок 5 с помощью резьбового соединения 6, не требующего от пользователя специальных навыков в обращении с таким соединением деталей. Простое в обращении резьбовое соединение 6 съемного ободка 5 с корпусным кольцом 1 обеспечивает возможность установки пользователем различных по назначению съемных ободков 5, заменяя один съемный ободок другим, за счет чего может быть расширена номенклатура упомянутых ободков. Например, съемный ободок 5 может быть выполнен с декоративными вставками 7, в том числе из драгоценных камней.
