Abstract

FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing mixture of polyethylene glycol monoalkyl esters used widely as oligomeric base for the modern braking liquid, antifreezes, dust suppressing agents and so on. Method for preparing mixture of polyethylene glycol monoalkyl esters of the general formula: R-O-(CH2-CH2-O)n-H wherein n is a whole number 2-8; R means -C1-C4-alkyl involves oxyethylation of the parent substance with ethylene oxide under conditions of alkaline catalysis. The parent substance represents mixture of recycle distillate isolated from reaction mass obtained in oxyethylation of hydroxy-containing compounds under conditions of alkaline catalysis and showing the following composition, wt.-%: alcohol of the formula: ROH, 2-60; monoethylene glycol monoalkyl ester of the formula: R-O-CH2-CH2-OH, 25-55; diethylene glycol monoalkyl ester of the formula: R-O-(CH2-CH2-O)2-H, 2-55; and additionally added alcohol of the formula: ROH wherein R has above indicated value in the ratio additionally added alcohol : recycle distillate = (0.1-0.4): 1. Oxyethylation is carried out in the ratio ethylene oxide : the parent substance = (0.3-0.8):1 followed by separation of reaction mass. Method provides enhancing yield of the end product, to simplify production scheme and to reduce energy consumption. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 9 ex

Способ получения смеси моноалкиловых эфиров полиэтиленгликолей общей формулы R-O-(CH2-CH2-O)n-H, где n - целое число 2-8; R - алкил C1-C4, оксиэтилированием окисью этилена в условиях щелочного катализа исходного вещества, отличающийся тем, что исходное вещество представляет собой смесь рециклового дистиллата, выделенного из реакционной массы, полученной при оксиэтилировании гидроксилсодержащих соединений в условиях щелочного катализа, и имеющего состав, мас.%: спирт формулы ROH - 2-60; моноалкиловый эфир моноэтиленгликоля формулы R-O-CH2-CH2-OH - 25-55; моноалкиловый эфир диэтиленгликоля формулы R-O-(СН2-СН2-O)2-Н - 2-55, и дополнительно введенного спирта формулы ROH, где R имеет вышеуказанное значение, при соотношении дополнительно введенный спирт: рецикловый дистиллат 0,1-0,4:1 и оксиэтилирование проводят при соотношении окись этилена : исходное вещество 0,3-0,8:1 с последующим разделением реакционной массы.A method of obtaining a mixture of monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycols of the general formula RO- (CH 2 —CH 2 —O) n —H, where n is an integer of 2-8; R is C 1 -C 4 alkyl, by ethoxylation with ethylene oxide under alkaline catalysis of the starting material, characterized in that the starting material is a mixture of recycle distillate isolated from the reaction mixture obtained by hydroxyethylation of hydroxyl-containing compounds under conditions of alkaline catalysis, and having the composition wt.%: alcohol of the formula ROH - 2-60; monoethylene glycol monoalkyl ether of the formula RO-CH 2 —CH 2 —OH — 25-55; diethylene glycol monoalkyl ether of the formula RO- (CH 2 -CH 2 -O) 2 -H - 2-55, and an additionally introduced alcohol of the formula ROH, where R has the above meaning, with a ratio of the additionally introduced alcohol: recycle distillate 0.1-0, 4: 1 and hydroxyethylation is carried out at a ratio of ethylene oxide: starting material 0.3-0.8: 1, followed by separation of the reaction mass.
