Сущность изобретени : ножева головка содержит шарнирно установленные на основании поворотные челюсти 2, режущие органы в виде волнообразного ножа 5, который смонтирован к торцовой поверхности каждой челюсти посредством конусообразного основани 1, причем впадины 7 режущих кромок волнообразного ножа смещены относительно их выступов внутрь по направлению подачи дерева, и привод 3 поворота челюстей. Ножева головка снабжена установленными на поворотных челюст х и перед волнообразными ножами 5 отгибающими элементами 6 и накопител ми хвойной лапки . Каждый из накопителей выполнен в виде открытого в передней части кожуха 4 с уши- рением в нижней части Кожух закреплен с наружной стороны челюсти.
