Abstract

A vehicle owner warning device intended for authorized notification of a car owner by means of a signal from a transmitting device located in the car and actuated by an external button located on the car body, the signal is transmitted via telephone in the cellular network coverage area to the mobile phone of the car owner about the need to go to the parking place.

1. Field of technology.

Car advanced options. The area is improving the ability to communicate with the car owner in various situations.

2. The level of technology

2.1. Immobilizers The main purpose of these devices is to break the circuit in the most significant places of the car - for example, starter circuits, ignition in order to prevent car theft.

One of the functions of modern immobilizers is to notify the car owner of an unauthorized entry into the car and an attempt to start the engine. Immobilizers, basically, have two structural elements: one block is in the car, the second is with the owner. The item held by the car owner has the form of a key fob with a display that shows an attempt of unauthorized physical actions in relation to the car.

The similarity described in the operation of the device is:

1) the presence of a similar principle of structural elements. As in the case of the immobilizer, one unit (control unit) is in the car, the second is in the owner's possession (a key that is recognized by the control unit).

In the described device there are also two blocks:

signal transmitting unit - located in the car;

receiving device - located at the car owner.

2) one of the purposes of the immobilizer is to notify the owner of an unauthorized physical impact on the car. The main purpose of the vehicle owner alert device is the owner alert.

The difference between the described device and the immobilizer:

1) The described device warning the owner of the car is not an anti-theft tool.

2) In terms of structural elements:

- The unit in the vehicle is not intended to immobilize the vehicle. It is a transmitting device that works on the principle of a mobile phone, making a call or sending an SMS message.

- The second element of the device is the mobile phone of the owner of the car to which the call or SMS message arrives.

2.2. Mobile phones. The main purpose of mobile phones is to provide communication between subscribers in the most common networks (GSM, its analogs, and other common formats). The form of communication - voice calls, sms - alerts, other types of communication available for modern phones. To carry out communications between subscribers, it is necessary to have telephones for subscribers, as well as one of the subscribers to know the phone number of another subscriber.

The similarity of the described device consists in the principle of notification - a call in the form of a call arriving on the owner’s mobile phone or SMS notification.

Differences.

1) For the implementation of the task, a limited set of mobile phone functions is required, namely, notification is made to a specific subscriber number (or group of subscribers).

2) To notify the owner of the car, it is enough to activate the warning device using an external button located on the car body.

3) The owner does not need to answer a voice call or SMS notification. The device serves precisely to notify the owner of the need to approach the parking place.

3. Disclosure of a utility model.

3.1. The problem to be solved is the receipt by the car owner of an alert about the need to approach the parking place.

3.2. The technical result is achieved by transmitting the signal by the activated unit located in the car to the mobile phone of the car owner (for a schematic view, see Fig. 1, in the figure the block is designated 1, then Block 1).

The technical result is achieved due to:

1) Active Block 1 transmitting the signal.

2) The subscriber (owner of the car) has a mobile phone to which the signal is being received.

3.3. In its turn. Block 1, located in the car, is activated by light physical impact on the external element in the form of a button.

The button is located on the outer surface of the car body. The most suitable place is the lower part of the side mirrors, due to:

- convenient ergonomic access;

- the element does not violate the appearance of the car;

- not subject to severe pollution;

The button with Block 1 can be wired or wirelessly.

3.4. Block 1 device alerts the owner of the car.

3.4.1. It works on the principle of a mobile phone in the mode of transferring a call or SMS notification to a specific subscriber (or group of subscribers, if determined).

3.4.2. For the operation of Block 1, it is necessary:

- The presence of the environment in which the vast majority of mobile phones work (GSM networks, its analogues, other common formats).

- The presence of a SIM card in Block 1 of any telecom operator and sufficient balance to make a call or SMS alert, in accordance with the tariffs and rules for the provision of services by a particular telecom operator;

- The presence of a power source for the operation of Block 1;

3.4.3. Location of Block 1.

Any place inside the car, subject to the basic principles:

- protected from harsh mechanical influences and the effects of high temperatures of the working engine, moisture and other unfavorable factors that could have an adverse effect on the operation of the device.

- ease of access, if necessary:

- replace the SIM card;

- change the parameters;

- activate / deactivate the device.

It may be quite suitable to place near the control panel of the car systems, or inside it, as in Fig. 1.

3.4.4. Power Supply Unit 1.

Two approaches are possible.

1) Due to the autonomous battery, like a mobile phone.

2) Due to the battery of the car in the presence of a voltage converter sufficient for the normal operation of Block 1. This method is most preferable.

3.4.5. The main structural elements of Block 1.

As already mentioned in clause 3.4.1., Block 1 has functional similarities with the simplest mobile phone. In this regard, the main structural elements:

1) a radio range transmitter and traditional telephone switching for telephone communications and sending SMS messages in the territory of a cellular network coverage area;

3) interface devices (in this case, it is a structural element of Block 1), or a connector for connecting an external device to set system parameters.

3.4.6. Minimum information required for Block 1.

1) the number or telephone numbers to which the notification should be sent.

- A call that does not require a response;

- sms - notification (set text);

3.4.7. The level of complexity of a vehicle owner’s alert device may vary. Concerning:

- Various options for placing Block 1 in a car may be offered;

- The appearance of Unit 1 of the device and the materials from which the warning devices of the car owner are made may vary;

- Information can be entered using either the built-in interface or connecting an external source;

- The level of additional service (for example, notification of a critical balance balance, etc.) and options (critical battery level, etc.) may depend on the complexity of the device itself or on the service that the telecom operator offers.

5. Implementation of a utility model
