Postupak za obogaćivanje eritropoetina dobijenog kultivisanjem eukariotskih ćelija domaćina u medij umu za kulture u proteinskoj smeši, pri čemu se sledeći stupnjevi a-)-c) izvode navedenim redosledom:a) prva anjonska jonoizmenjivačka hromatografija,b) afinitetna hromatografija, hidrofobna interaktivna hromatografija i hidroksiapatitna hromatografija, navedenim redosledom, ic) druga anjonska jonoizmenjivačka hromatografija.Prijava sadrži još 17 patentnih zahteva.
