Procedeul pentru prepararea azobisizobutironitrilului caracterizat prin aceea ca, hidrabisizobutironitrilului se oxideaza cu o solutie de hipoclorit de sodiu care contine 12% clor activ în prezenta de acid bromhidric, ca atare sau în solutii concentrate acid sulfuric si apa, la temperaturi de reactie cuprinse între 15 si 25 degree C la presiunea atmosferica, sub agitare continua, mentinînd timpul de reactie între 1/2h si 4h raportul molar între reactanti fiind hidrazobisizobutironitril:acid halogenat: acid sulfuric: apa hipoclorit de sodiu 1: 0,005-0,1:0,1-1:5-20:1-1,5The process for the preparation of azobisisobutyronitrile, characterized in that the hydrobisisobutyronitrile is oxidized with a sodium hypochlorite solution containing 12% active chlorine in the presence of hydrobromic acid as such or in concentrated sulfuric acid and water solutions at reaction temperatures of between 15 and 25 degrees C at atmospheric pressure with continuous stirring, maintaining the reaction time between 1/2h and 4h, the molar ratio of reactants being hydrazobisisobutyronitrile: halogenated acid: sulfuric acid: sodium hypochlorite 1: 0.005-0.1: 0.1- 1: 5-20: 1-1.5
