Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea unor derivati de (vezi formula) cu formula generala I: (vezi formula) în care R1 reprezinta un radical alchil cu 1...4 atomi de carbon, R2 reprezinta un atom de hidrogen, un radical alchil cu 1...6 atomi de carbon sau un radical alchenil cu 2...4 atomi de carbon, X reprezinta o grupa hidroxi, un radical alchil cu 1...4 atomi de carbon, alchiloxi cu 1...6 atomi de carbon, alchiloxialchiloxi din care cele doua grupe alchil pot fi identice sau diferite, fiecare avînd 1...4 atomi de carbon, un radical alcheniloxi cu 2...4 atomi de carbon, un radical alchiloxicarbonilalchiloxi din care cele doua grupe alchil pot fi identice sau diferite si fiecare poseda 1...4 atomi de carbon sau un radical aliloxi.
