A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO FORNECE UMA SOLUÇÃO DE CONTROLO DE ADMISSÃO (200) PARA UM SISTEMA DE PROCESSAMENTO DE DADOS (500), COM A ADMISSÃO DE EVENTOS DE SERVIÇO (170) EM CADA INTERFACE DE EVENTOS DE SERVIÇO, CONTROLADA POR UM TOKEN BUCKET DE VÁRIOS NÍVEIS, COM TOKENS DE UNIDADE DE CARGA. CADA EVENTO DE SERVIÇO ADMITIDO CONSOME UM TOKEN DE UNIDADE DE CARGA, REPRESENTANDO OS TOKENS ARMAZENADOS NO TOKEN BUCKET DE VÁRIOS NÍVEIS, A CAPACIDADE TOTAL DE PROCESSAMENTO DISPONÍVEL PARA ESSE NÓ DO SISTEMA. UM GERADOR DE TOKEN PREENCHE O TOKEN BUCKET DE VÁRIOS NÍVEIS NA TAXA DETERMINADA PELO LIMITE DE TAXA DE CARGA ATUAL (240) PERMITIDO PARA O NÓ DO SISTEMA. OS LIMITES (240) SÃO CALCULADOS E ATUALIZADOS EXTERNAMENTE POR UM GESTOR DE CARGA CENTRALIZADO (510) QUE TEM CONHECIMENTO DO NÍVEL DE STRESS GERAL DO SISTEMA.THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES AN ADMISSION CONTROL SOLUTION (200) FOR A DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM (500), WITH THE ADMISSION OF SERVICE EVENTS (170) AT EACH SERVICE EVENT INTERFACE, CONTROLLED BY A MULTI-LEVEL TOKEN BUCKET, WITH LOAD UNIT TOKENS. EACH ADMITTED SERVICE EVENT CONSUMES A LOAD UNIT TOKEN, WITH THE TOKENS STORED IN THE MULTI-LEVEL TOKEN BUCKET REPRESENTING THE TOTAL PROCESSING CAPACITY AVAILABLE TO THAT SYSTEM NODE. A TOKEN GENERATOR FILLS THE MULTI-TIER TOKEN BUCKET AT THE RATE DETERMINED BY THE CURRENT LOAD RATE LIMIT (240) ALLOWED FOR THE SYSTEM NODE. THE LIMITS (240) ARE CALCULATED AND UPDATED EXTERNALLY BY A CENTRALIZED LOAD MANAGER (510) THAT HAS KNOWLEDGE OF THE OVERALL SYSTEM STRESS LEVEL.
