Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób spieniania asfaltu z zastosowaniem mineralnego dodatku pozwalający na pozwalający na obniżenie temperatury produkcji mieszanek mineralno-asfaltowych. Sposób spieniania asfaltu z zastosowaniem mineralnego dodatku polega na tym, że do wermikulitu dodaje się wodę w ilości od 50% do 250% wagowych suchej mieszanki i miesza się do momentu uzyskania mieszaniny o jednolitej strukturze. Następnie mieszaninę w ilości od 2% do 10% wagowo w stosunku do masy asfaltu dodaje się do gorącego asfaltu o temperaturze od 140°C do 175°C i miesza się do momentu rozpoczęcia spieniania asfaltu. W dalszej kolejności dodaje się spieniony asfalt do mieszanki mineralnej o temperaturze od 110°C do 135°C i miesza się do uzyskania całkowitego otoczenia kruszywa asfaltem, po czym mieszankę mineralno-asfaltową zagęszcza w temperaturze od 105°C do 130°C.The subject of the invention is a method of foaming asphalt with the use of a mineral additive that allows to reduce the temperature of production of asphalt mixtures. The method of foaming asphalt with the use of a mineral additive consists in adding water in an amount of 50% to 250% by weight of the dry mix to the vermiculite and mixing it until a uniform structure is obtained. Then the mixture in an amount of 2% to 10% by weight of the weight of the asphalt is added to the hot asphalt at a temperature of 140 ° C to 175 ° C and mixed until the asphalt starts to expand. Subsequently, foamed asphalt is added to the mineral mix at a temperature of 110 ° C to 135 ° C and mixed until the aggregate is completely surrounded by asphalt, and then the asphalt mix is compacted at a temperature of 105 ° C to 130 ° C.
