Abstract

The invention concerns a connection device characterised in that it comprises at least a cell (18) for directly engaging the previously partially stripped end of a coaxial cable (10) to be connected, with, interposed laterally relatively to said cell (18), a contact element (19), extending parallel to the cell (18) axis (A1), and whereon the coaxial cable (10) is to be connected between its outer sheath (13) and its shielding (12), and a cam (20) mounted rotating about an axis of rotation (A2) parallel to the cell (18) axis (A1), and which, transversely relatively thereto, has at least a clamping rib (21) whereof the distance of the ridge relatively to its axis of rotation (A2) varies about the latter. The invention is applicable in particular to coaxial cables used for distributing high frequency signals, and particularly, for distributing television signals.
