Nad tapicerowanym siedziskiem 1 mającym kształt prostokąta umieszczony jest podłokietnik 2 oraz prostopadle do niego podłokietnik 3. Przy ustawieniu podłokietników w skrajnym położeniu przy krawędziach bocznych, jak przedstawiono na fig. 3, mebel spełnia funkcję sofy - sypialni.
