Abstract

The present invention relates to synergistic insecticidal composition comprising combination of an organothiophosphate and a pyrethroid. The present invention also relates to synergistic insecticidal composition comprising combination of an organothiophosphate, a pyrethroid, silicone wetting agent and surfactant. The present invention specifically relates to emulsifiable concentrate (EC) composition comprising combination of Phenthoate, Cypermethrin, silicone wetting agent, surfactant and other agrochemical auxiliaries. The present invention specifically relates to emulsifiable concentrate composition comprising combination of Phenthoate and Cypermethrin at a weight in the ratio of 1 : 10 to 10 : 1 of first active ingredient to the second active ingredient, more preferably in the ratio of 1 : 7.5 to 7.5 : 1, silicone wetting agent, surfactant and other agrochemical auxiliaries. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of emulsifiable concentrate composition comprising combination of Phenthoate and Cypermethrin, wherein the emulsifiable concentrate is prepared by simple mixing process.
