Abstract

The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent article which imparts an appropriate cool-feeling effect immediately and for a long period of time. The absorbent article according to the present disclosure has the following configuration. The absorbent article (1) is provided with a skin-contact sheet (17), a clothing-contact sheet (21), and microcapsules (55) including a cool-feeling component therein, and is characterized in that: the skin-contact sheet (17) includes a fabric including a fiber; the fiber density of the fiber on a skin-contact surface (15) side of the skin-contact sheet (17) is higher than the fiber density of the fiber on a non-skin-contact surface (57) side of the skin contact sheet (17); the skin-contact sheet (17) includes the microcapsules (55) therein; and the number density of the microcapsules (55) on the skin-contact surface (15) side of the skin-contact sheet (17) is lower than the number density of the microcapsules (55) on the non-skin-contact surface (57) side of the skin-contact sheet (17).
