Abstract
A saddle-riding type vehicle which is capable of increasing a cleaner capacity while reducing an influence on ridability is provided. The saddle-riding type vehicle has an air cleaner device 20 which is installed in an intake air passage through which intake air is admitted into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine 11, to clean the intake air through an internally arranged element 21, wherein the air cleaner device 20 has a case body 22 forming a clean chamber C on a downstream side of the element 21, and a case cover 50 fitted to the case body 22 so as to cover an opening 22a of the case body 22 and the element 21 to form a dirty chamber D on an upstream side of the element 21, the case cover 22 has an upper case 30 and a lower case 40 divided up and down by a dividing surface 22d, the lower case 40 is so formed that its opening area becomes larger as it goes from a lower part of the dividing surface 22d toward an upper part thereof when viewed from the front of the vehicle, and the upper case 30 is so formed that its opening area becomes smaller as it goes upward from the dividing surface 22d when viewed from the front of the vehicle.
