Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un polipeptido variante insecticida de U1-agatoxina-Ta1b (TVP), donde dicho TVP comprende una secuencia de aminoacidos de acuerdo con la formula (I), donde el polipeptido comprende al menos una sustitucion de aminoacidos con respecto a la secuencia de tipo salvaje de U1-agatoxina-Ta1b como se establece en la SEQ ID NO:1, donde X1 es A, S o N; X2 es R, Q, N, A, G, N, L, D, V, M, I, C, E, T o S; X3 es T o P; X4 es K a A; X5 es R o A; Z1 es T, S, A, F, P, Y, K, W, H, A, G, N, L, V, M, I, Q, C, E o R; X6 es K o se encuentra ausente. Tambien se refiere a una composicion que consiste en dicho TVP, trehalosa, maltodextrina, maltosa, entre otros, a un metodo de produccion, a un vector y a una cepa de levadura. Dicho TVP son variaciones peptidicas no naturales basadas en la toxina U1-agatoxina-Ta1b derivada de la arana vagabunda, siendo utiles en el control de plagas.
