Abstract

Se refiere a un proceso para la preparacion de un gas de sintesis que comprende hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono de un gas que comprende metano, comprende los pasos de: (a) hacer reaccionar el gas que comprende metano con un gas de oxidacion en un reformador autotermico para obtener un gas de sintesis caliente en bruto que comprende monoxido de carbono e hidrogeno; (b) enfriar el gas de sintesis caliente en bruto que resulta de la etapa (a) para obtener el gas de sintesis, en el que el paso (b) comprende el enfriamiento del gas de sintesis caliente en bruto por intercambio de calor indirecto contra el gas que comprende metano utilizado en el paso (a) y en el que el azufre se anade corriente arriba del paso de enfriamiento (b). Tambien se refiere a un proceso para la preparacion de productos de hidrocarburos en los que un gas de sintesis de alimentacion se prepara en el proceso de acuerdo con lo descrito con anterioridad seguido por un tratamiento de desulfuracion y el gas de sintesis desulfurado se convierte posteriormente en productos de hidrocarburos en un proceso de Fischer-Tropsch
