Abstract

A device to reduce the thermal effect associated with the emission of heat from LEDs on an electrical circuit board housed in a body section. An LED lamp is configured so that an LED board (16) on which LEDs (15) are mounted is provided on a base plate (13), a cylindrical body section (2) is provided coupled with the bottom surface of the base plate (13), a cap (3) is provided at the end part of the body section (2), an electrical circuit board on which electrical circuit components are mounted for lighting the LEDs (15) is housed in the body section (2), a plurality of heat sink fins (25) are provided along the outer peripheral surface of the body section (2) so as to extend from the bottom surface of the base plate (13) towards the end part, and the end portions of the end part of the respective heat sink fins (25) are placed at positions separated from the cap towards the base plate (13).
