Abstract

A device for administration to the mammary gland cavity of a subject such as a lactating animal is disclosed, wherein the device comprises: at least one active agent; and at least one carrier material; and wherein the environment into which the device is inserted into (the lumen of a teat of the mammary gland) triggers dispersion of the active agent
