Abstract

The substituted benzimidazole-alkoxy-amine derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof have the formula I wherein: R1 is hydrogen, trifluoromethyl, pentafluoroethyl, heptafluoropropyl, alkyl or benzyl optionally substituted by one to three substituents selected from halogen, amino, nitro, hydroxy, alkoxy; R2 is hydrogen or alkyl; R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, cyclohexylmethyl, -(CH2)mAr or phenylbutyl or NR2R3 is 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolin-1-yl or 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-2-yl; Ar is optionally substituted phenyl, thienyl, furanyl, or pyridinyl, Y is halogen, alkyl, amino or alkoxy and n is 1-5. A pharmaceutical composition thereof is useful for treating diseases that respond to treatment with D2 agonists.
