Abstract
En fremgangsmåte er foreslått for å gjenvinne og konsentrere perfluorerte forbindelser og hydrofluorkarbongasser fra effluentgasser i fremstillingsprosesser. Fremgangsmåten omfatter at gassen bringes i kontakt med en membranmodul utstyrt med uorganiske molekylarsiktmembraner og pålegging av en trykkdifferans over membranen ved å komprimere mategassen eller påtrykke et vakuum på permeatet eller begge. PFC og HFC gassene tilbakeholdes i meget høy grad i det det oppnås høyere konsentrasjoner PFC og HFC komponenter samtidig som man reduserer størrelsen av eller eliminerer behovet for komplimentere prosesser for å fjerne PFC og HFC gasser som ellers kunne passere gjennom mebranen til permeatsiden.A process is proposed for recovering and concentrating perfluorinated compounds and hydrofluorocarbon gases from effluent gases in manufacturing processes. The method comprises contacting the gas with a membrane module equipped with inorganic molecular sieve membranes and applying a pressure differential across the membrane by compressing the feed gas or applying a vacuum to the permeate or both. The PFC and HFC gases are very much retained as higher concentrations of PFC and HFC components are obtained while reducing the size or eliminating the need for complimenting processes to remove PFC and HFC gases that would otherwise pass through the membrane to the permeate side.
