Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår polyolefiner som er minst enkeltumettet og med en tallmidlere molekylvekt i området fra 400 til 1500 dalton og en dispersitet MvjIMh< 1,2, oppnådd ved katalytisk dimerisering av minst enkeltumettede olefin-oligomer, samt fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av disse. Foreliggende oppfinelse angår videre derivater av polyolefinene, og som kan oppnås ved funksjonalisering av minst én dobbeltbinding i polyolefinet. Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår også anvendelsen av polyolefinene og/eller deres funksjonali-seringsprodukter som drivstoff- og smøremiddeladditiver.
