Abstract

Det beskrives et multibærer transmisjonssystem , for eksempel et DMT-system, hvori kanalinformasjon overføres mellom to tranceivere som anvender et flertall av sub- bærere, kjennetegnet ved at hver sub-bærer, eller symbol, har en parameter assosiert dertil, og at nevnte tranceivere er tilpasset for å overføre nevnte kanalinformasjon som en sekvens av n grupper, hvori hver av nevnte n grupper inneholder informasjon vedrørende antallet tilgrensende sub-bærere som har den same verdi som nevnte parameter, sammen med den aktuelle verdi for parameteren. Parameteren som kan ha et flertall diskrete verdier, kan være en bit- lastingsverdi, eller en QAM-konstellasjonsidentifiserer.
