Abstract

Intelligent nett, omfattende tjenestesvitsjepunkter (SSP), der anropssvitsjingen utføres, og der data som relaterer seg til anrop og signaler som indike- rer forskjellige hendelser relatert til anropene, blir generert, samt tjenestestyrepunkter (SCP) for- bundet med tjenestesvitsjepunktene (SSP) for å motta anropsdata og hendelsessignaler og for styring av svitsjepunkter. Et tjenestestyrepunkt (SCP) omfatter en tjenestestyrefunksjon (SCF) for utførelse av tje- nester, primært relatert til anrop, idet tjeneste- funksjonen (SCF) på sin side omfatter predefinerte byggeblokker eller styretyper. For å kunne skaffe en mulighet for kunder til å sende data til et SCP og trigge utførelsen av en tjeneste i et tjenestestyre- punkt (SCP), er servere (serverl, server2,...) som eies av kundene og omfatter tjenestefunksjoner (CSF_1, CSF_2,...) konstruert av kundene, forbundet med nevnte tjenestestyrepunkt (SCP). Når en slik tjenestefunksjon blir utført i en server, vil den sende data til tjenestestyrepunktet via en fjern- trigget funksjon (RTF) som også befinner seg i tje- nestestyrepunktet. Tjenestestyrefunksjonen (SCF) mottar dataene og utfører den forespurte tjeneste under bruk av nevnte data. For retur av prosesserte data omfatter tjenestestyrefunksjonen en fjerntrig- get prosedyrebyggeblokk (RTPROC), som overfører, når den blir utført, nevnte data til en databuffer. Nevnte funksjon (CSF_1, CSF_2,...) i den ytre server vil deretter aksessere databufferen via den fjern- triggede funksjon (RTF).
