Abstract

Framgangsmåte for framstilling av en løsning av N-metylmorfolin-N-oksid i vann for anvendelse i aminoksidmetoden, ved å: (a) framskaffe en vandig løsning (A) som inneholder N-metylmorfolin avledet fra aminoksidmetoden, (b) kombinere løsning (A) med nok en vandig løsning (B) som inneholder N-metylmorfolin for slik å danne en løsning (C), (c) behandle løsning (C) med et oksidasjonsmiddel for å oksidere N-metylmorfolin til N-metylmorfolin-N-oksid for slik å danne en løsning (D) av N-metylmorfolin-N-oksid i vann for bruk i aminoksidmetoden.Process for preparing a solution of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide in water for use in the amine oxide method, by: (a) obtaining an aqueous solution (A) containing N-methylmorpholine derived from the amine oxide method, (b) combining solution (A ) with another aqueous solution (B) containing N-methylmorpholine to form a solution (C), (c) treating solution (C) with an oxidizing agent to oxidize N-methylmorpholine to N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide for so as to form a solution (D) of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide in water for use in the amine oxide method.
