Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en. fremgangsmåte for fjerning av acetylen ved lavtemperaturluftseparasjon. Derved blir luften først komprimert, avkjølt i minst én omskiftbar varmeveksler, og til slutt separert i minst én destillasjonskolonne. Ifølge oppfinnelsen blir acetylen fjernet fra luften ved katalytisk oksidasjon før luften ledes inn i varmeveksleren ved en temperatur mellom 70 og 130 °C, fortrinnsvis mellom 80 og 110 °C. Vann og karbondioksid blir derimot i hovedsak fjernet fra luften i varmeveksleren.The invention relates to a. process for removing acetylene by low temperature air separation. According to the invention, acetylene is removed from the air by catalytic oxidation before the air is introduced into the heat exchanger at a temperature between 70 and 130 ° C, preferably between 80 and 110 ° C. Water and carbon dioxide, on the other hand, are mainly removed from the air in the heat exchanger.
