Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse er en fremgangsmåte ved fremstiilling av en stabilisert vandig alkali- eller jordalkalimetallhypobromittløsning. Frem- gangsmåten omfatter de følgende trinn: a. Blanding av en vandig løsning av alkali- eller jordalkalimetallhypokloritt med i området 5 - 70% tilgjengelig halogen i form av klor med en vannløselig bromidionkilde; b. La bromidionkilden og alkali- eller jord- alkalimetallhypokloritten reagere slik at det dan- nes 0,5 - 70 vekt% vandig løsning av ikke-stabi- lisert alkali- eller j.ordalkalimetallhypobromitt ; c. Tilsats til en ikke-stabilisert løsning av alkali- eller jordalkalimetallhypobromitt av en vandig lesning av et alkalimetallsulfamat i en mengde for å tilveiebringe rtiolarforhold mellom alkalimetallsulfamat og alkali- eller jordalkali- metallhypobromitt i området 0,5 - 7; og d. Gjenvinning av en stabilisert vandig alkali- eller jordalkalimetallhypobromitt-løsning
