Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for å styreoperasjonen av en signaldekoder ved et kringkastingssystem, hvor et kringkastingssignal og en kryptert signatur er generert, og signaturen er tillagt signalet. Signalet sammen med signaturen kringkastes og mottas i dekoderen hvor signaturen dekrypteres og sammenlignes med en verifikasjonsverdi. Dersom et samsvar forekommer blir videre operasjon av dekoderen tillatt. Dersom et samsvar ikke forekommer, blir videre operasjon av dekoderen forbudt.
