Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer et nuklein- syremolekyl med en nukleotidsekvens som koder for humant MOG, et autoantigen i forbindelse med demyelinerende autoimmune sykdommer. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer også rekombinant fremstilt humant MOG eller antigenfragmenter. Antigenfragmenter av MOG, som kan fremstilles syntetisk, representerer T-celleepitoper av humant MOG. Humant MOG og fragmenter derav er anvendelige for diagnose og behandling av autoimmune sykdommer. Videre er det også beskrevet fremgangs- måter til screening for, og utvikling av terapeutika an- vendelige ved behandling av autoimmune sykdommer.
