Abstract

Ved kjente optiske sjøkabler med en måleledning til feillokalisering er denne hyppig utført som en langssømsveiset rør av elektrisk ledende materiale. Slike utførte sjøkabler har den ulempe at de bare lar seg fremstille med en høy produksjonsteknisk kostnad .Ved kabelen i henhold til oppfinnelsen er minst to måleledninger anordnet innbyrdes isolert i et felles isolasjonssjikt. En slik sjøkabel lar seg fremstille med lav kostnad og høy produksjonshastighet.
