Abstract
Ved den radialt statiske tetting med en elastisk tetning av metall er det fare for at tetningsflatene blir skadet av tetningen under monteringen. Tetningens tetthet kan ikke garanteres, og det kan være nøvendig med etterbearbeidelse av tetningsflatene etter en demontering. Gjennopm anordnin- gen av to tetningsringer (2a, 2b) i en mantel (1) skrått forskjøvet i forhold til hverandre blir det fremskaffet en tetning som legger seg an mot tetningsflatene (14, 15) uten fare for å skade disse. Derved skyves tetningsringene (2a, 2b) opp på hverandre og bygger således opp det nødvendige tetningstrykk.
