Abstract

A system to prevent theft or hijacking of vehicles using driver identification using an RFID or NFC chip (1-1) which is read (1-2, 1-3) in the vehicle so that unauthorized personnel cannot use the vehicle. This is done by the system's control unit (1-4) which receives information from RFID or NFC readers (1-2, 1-3), any door switch (1-7) and speed signal (1-8) either controls valves (2-10 ) with a control signal (1-11) that activates the parking brake on vehicles with compressed air brakes, or deactivates valves (3-2) that control gear changes in automatic gearboxes (3-1) by means of a lever (3-3) so that the vehicle does not can be used. Alternatively, control unit (1-4) with control signal (1-11) controls relay (4-4, 5-9) which controls the current to the ignition system's coil to prevent ignition in otto motors or signals from TPS (5-5), MAP (5 -3) or other sensors/sensors in the fuel system. For vehicles with an electric fuel pump (7-1), there will be a relay (7-2) which is controlled by the control unit (1-4) with a control signal (1-11) to regulate the current to this pump (7-1). For vehicles with a mechanical fuel pump (6-2) and a mechanical diesel injection pump (6-1), there will be a relay (6-6) which is controlled by the control unit (1-4) with a control signal (1-11). This relay (6-6) controls the actuator/solenoid (6-4) which activates the valve (6-3) so that it closes off the fuel supply from the fuel system (6-2) and opens so that the diesel injection pump (6-1 ) sucks air. The system will have an audio signal, light signal or display (1-5) that informs the driver of the system's status. In addition, the control unit (1-4) will have a power supply with different sources (1^12) and battery back-up (1-13) to prevent the system from being disconnected or switched. The signals (1-11) from the control unit (1-4) will also be able to have a different voltage than the vehicle's existing electrical system to prevent the system from being switched. This can be checked by checking the voltage on signal (1-11). The system can have a wireless connection or a mobile device with a GPS unit (1-9) that notifies a control center in the event of an alarm condition in the system. The mobile unit (1-9) can optionally also be called up and send a signal to the control unit (1-4) to activate the system so that the vehicle cannot be moved.
