Description

APPARAT FOR Å STIMULERE EN PETROLEUMSBRØNN OG FRAMGANGSMÅTE FOR Å STIMULERE BRØNNEN APPARATUS FOR STIMULATING A PETROLEUM WELL AND METHOD FOR STIMULATING THE WELL

The invention relates to an apparatus for stimulating a petroleum well and a method for stimulating the well.

In what follows, an example of a preferred embodiment is described which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, where:

Fig. 1 viser et skjema av apparatet ifølge oppfinnelsen; og Fig. 1 shows a diagram of the device according to the invention; and

Fig. 2 viser bruk av apparatet ifølge oppfinnelsen i fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen. Fig. 2 shows use of the device according to the invention in the method according to the invention.

BESKRIVELSE AV APPARATET IFØLGE OPPFINNELSEN (se Fig. 1): DESCRIPTION OF THE APPARATUS ACCORDING TO THE INVENTION (see Fig. 1):

The apparatus according to the invention comprises a liquid ring pump (4) and a multiphase pump (5) in series as well as a separate control system (2) for these. Liquid supply from reservoir (1) via feed pumps (3) ensures that pumps (4) and (5) operate optimally. The reason for liquid supply is that the pump cannot handle pure gas. The composition can be used to reduce pressure all the way down to vacuum and pressure build-up.

The device is configured to reduce pressure, vacuum and pressure build-up on multiphase flow.

The device can take the pressure all the way down to 0.2 bar absolute pressure (-0.8 bar) and build it up again to the desired pressure into the production header (see Fig. 2).

BESKRIVELSE AV FREMGANGSMÅTEN IFØLGE OPPFINNELSEN (se Fig. 2): DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE ACCORDING TO THE INVENTION (see Fig. 2):

The procedure is to start up a well that has been shut down and is to be started up again.

The device (3) reduces the pressure downstream (1) of the well, which fails to deliver to the production header (P2) due to low pressure (P1) in the well.

The device will help start the well and operate it until it is "hot enough" to produce itself.

The device will typically be used in a start-up phase after a well has been shut down and is to be started again.

Økt produksjon for brønner som trenger mindre mottrykk Increased production for wells that need less back pressure

It should be noted that all of the above embodiments illustrate the invention, but do not limit it, and those skilled in the art will be able to devise many alternative embodiments without departing from the scope of the appended claims. In the requirements, reference numbers in brackets should not be seen as limiting. The use of the verb "to comprise" and its various forms does not exclude the presence of elements or steps not mentioned in the claims. The indefinite articles "an", "ei" or "et" before an element do not exclude the presence of several such elements. The fact that certain features are listed in mutually different dependent claims does not indicate that a combination of these features cannot be advantageously used. In device claims that mention several means, several of these means may be included in one and the same element of the hardware.
